There'll be an up-coming contest about Manga.
Here's the information of the contest :
Manga Suki Contest
Rules & RegulationsThis competition is open to all
The One Academy students.
One entry per person.
Submission Details:
Participants are required to draw
a cover and
2 pages of manga with the following format:
i) Cover – Design your manga cover with your own creativity. It can be an introduction of the story.
ii) It is
not necessary to follow the panel arrangements but you
MUST start the story with
a person receiving a heart shape item from the left and end with
a person passing on the heart shape item to the right.
iii) Use your own creativity to form the storyline in between.
iv) The comic can be in
Black and White, but the
COVER must be
coloured digitally.
v) Any medium can be used to finish the manga – Traditional or digital. (Excluding the Cover – in digital format.)
vi) The size of your entry must be in
a)
A4 size
300 dpi, burn into
CD as
JPEG format – Quality
8 and above.
(Those that uses traditional medium are required to
scan their work and
burn it into a
CD accordingly)
b)
A4 size hard copy.
vii) Please enclose your entries into an
A4 size envelope.
viii) On the front of the envelope please write these information:

ID No.
Class
Email
Contact Number
- The One Academy will have full rights to all entries.
- All entries must not contain any nudity, adult situations, violence or other obscenities.
- All entries must be ORIGINAL. Strictly no plagiarism allowed.
- Deadline – 22 November 2007, 11:00 am – 11:30 am.
- Please submit your entries to ILLUSTRATION DEPARTMENT, THE ONE ACADEMY.
- Late submission will not be entertained.
- Contest winners will be announced on 24 November 2007.
- Judges decisions are final.
There will be 3 prizes given out. Placing: 1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place.
